Hi Everyone,<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>The Southern Open is in Florida this year and is being played at\u00a0ClearOne. \u00a0<\/span>This is 1 of\u00a05 USAB Sanctioned Regional Tournaments in the US and\u00a0covers an 11 state region in the south, from Florida to Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>You can sign up\u00a0now and receive a Southern Open Dry-Fit T-shirt as our THANK YOU! \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>To get this bonus you must sign up and pay prior to August 18th.\u00a0<\/span>We are expecting a large draw, as prior Southern Open Tournaments have had as many as 150 entries.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>The Southern Open is being played on the Saturday (August 31st) and the Sunday (September 1st) of the Labor Day Weekend (Monday is a holiday).\u00a0<\/span>It’s our\u00a0<\/span>“warm-up” tournament before\u00a0the Yonex USA International.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>The Yonex USA International Tournament is one of only two BWF sanctioned tournaments\u00a0that is played in the US.\u00a0<\/span>This tournament received a major sponsorhip from Yonex as their committment to the growth of badminton in\u00a0Florida.\u00a0<\/span>This event is being\u00a0at ClearOne\u00a0from Nov 6 to Nov 10.<\/span>\u00a0 Once again we expect a large draw. \u00a0<\/span>W<\/span>e were notified a few days ago that 10 members of the Brazilian National Team are coming and we have confirmation that reigning Pan American Champions are also coming. <\/span><\/p>\n

F<\/span>or now our focus is on the Southern Open. \u00a0<\/span>We have a wide variety of events for both novice and experienced players and for those in-between.\u00a0<\/span>Note that we have\u00a0also<\/span>\u00a0included Age-Level categories as well as a Unisex Doubles\u00a0Combined-Age Event (70+, 80+,\u00a090+).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
